What does Stratacel do?

Stratacel is an advanced transparent, semi-occlusive wound dressing to be used following fractional rejuvenation procedures. It was developed with a lower viscosity which makes it easier to spread and remove. Stratacel was designed to adhere gently to existing epidermis making it the ideal post procedure dressing for fractional skin injuries.

Who can use Stratacel?

Stratacel is designed for all skin types. It is suitable for pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, children or people with sensitive skin.

How to use Stratacel?

Stratacel should be applied immediately post procedure. Carefully follow the post procedure care instructions that were given to you during your treatment. Apply once daily, or twice daily to exposed areas or as advised by your physician. For best results, Stratacel should maintain continuous contact with the skin (24 hours a day/7 days a week). Its best to use Stratacel after a wash.

Step 1: Prepare your skin

Ensure that the affected skin or superficial wound is clean. Gently pat dry as much excess exudate or wound fluid from the area as possible prior to the gel application.

Step 4: You are ready to go!

Once dry, Stratacel can be covered with clothes or cosmetics.

Remove from skin

Excess Stratacel on your hands can be easily removed by washing them with liquid soap and warm water. Repeat if necessary.

If it takes longer to dry you have probably applied too much. Gently remove any excess gel with a tissue or paper towel and allow the drying process to continue. Remember: a little amount of gel goes a long way.

Remove from clothes

Stratacel may stain clothing if not completely dry. If staining occurs, dry cleaning should be able to remove it without damaging the fabric.
